Reaching Families with the Good News of the Gospel An Independent Baptist Ministry of Evangelism and Christian Education
We are Tim, Susan and Rachel Vermaas with Good News for Little People. We are a conservative, Independent Baptist ministry that does Vacation Bible Schools, Family Crusades and Kid's Crusades. Along with these meetings we also conduct Teacher Training. Our goal is the evangelism of children and their families through this missions endeavor. Brother Tim uses the King James Version of the Bible to communicate the Gospel. It is our desire to share the Good News of Salvation so that many will make the decision of accepting Christ so that one day Heaven will be their eternal Home. We use ventriloquism and puppets as a tool to reinforce the message time. Tim also uses illusions or magic to teach Bible truths that correspond with the message of the evening.

Why Minister to Young People? Because children are the world’s most fruitful Mission Field. · Because Jesus said, “. . . Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:14 · Because children are the world’s most fruitful Mission Field. · Because every unsaved adult was once an unsaved child that someone failed to reach for Christ. · Because it is God’s will that we give opportunities for young people to receive Christ. “Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.” Matthew 18:14 · Because young people are the Church of tomorrow today.

Faith comes easily to children - Isaac Watts was saved at the age of 9, Jonathan Edwards at 7, Matthew Henry at 11, Jim Elliot at 6, and Corrie Ten Boom at the age of 5. “When a child is saved, not only is a soul saved, but a life as well.” - D.L. Moody “A child of five, if properly instructed, can as readily believe and be regenerated as anyone.” - Charles Spurgeon Good News for Little People, Inc. |
