Reaching Families with the Good News of the Gospel An Independent Baptist Ministry of Evangelism and Christian Education
|
|
We are Tim, Susan and Rachel Vermaas with Good News for Little People. We are a conservative, Independent Baptist ministry that does Vacation Bible Schools, Family Crusades and Kid's Crusades. Along with these meetings we also conduct Teacher Training. Our goal is the evangelism of children and their families through this missions endeavor. Brother Tim uses the King James Version of the Bible to communicate the Gospel. It is our desire to share the Good News of Salvation so that many will make the decision of accepting Christ so that one day Heaven will be their eternal Home. We use ventriloquism and puppets as a tool to reinforce the message time. Tim also uses illusions or magic to teach Bible truths that correspond with the message of the evening.

History
Good News for Little People
began in 1980 under the direction of Paul and Linda Ditman. Untold
numbers of boys and girls have had the privilege of hearing the Gospel
and many have received Christ as a result of their effective ministry
over the years.
Paul Ditman faithfully served as President of Good News for Little People
until his home-going in June of 1995, due to complications he developed
following a heart transplant in the late 1980’s. One week before his home-going,
Paul passed the “Mantle” of this ministry to his “Elisha in the faith,” Tim
Vermaas. Tim promised Paul that he would do everything in his power to make sure
that Good News for Little People
continued impacting children for Christ. Tim received
Christ a month before his fifth birthday as a result of his parent’s
testimony, and Susan became a Christian at the age of 14, because a
missionary in Germany started a bus route in her neighborhood. At young
ages they both decided to give God their hearts as well as their lives,
and now together, their burning desire is to share Christ’s love with
young people and their families. |
