We are Tim, Susan and Rachel Vermaas with Good News for Little People.  We are a conservative, Independent Baptist ministry that does Vacation Bible Schools, Family Crusades and Kid's Crusades.  Along with these meetings we also conduct Teacher Training.  Our goal is the evangelism of children and their families through this missions endeavor.  Brother Tim uses the King James Version of the Bible to communicate the Gospel.  It is our desire to share the Good News of Salvation so that many will make the decision of accepting Christ so that one day Heaven will be their eternal Home. We use ventriloquism and puppets as a tool to reinforce the message time.  Tim also uses illusions or magic to teach Bible truths that correspond with the message of the evening.

Statement of Faith

SCRIPTURE – We believe that every word of Scripture is inspired of God and the Scriptures are both infallible and inerrant. The Bible is the revelation of the will of God to man and is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

TRINITY – We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; these three are co-equal, co-eternal, and co-existent.

JESUS – We believe in the absolute deity and full humanity of Jesus Christ. We also believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death, burial, bodily resurrection, and ascension.

FALL OF MAN – We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin. Because of man’s depravity he is completely unable to remedy his lost condition, and is brought under the condemnation of eternal separation from God.

SALVATION – We believe salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Since the security of the believer rests solely in the finished work of Christ on the Cross, we believe the redeemed are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever.

THE CHURCH – We believe that the church is a congregation of baptized believers practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrines, observing its ordinances, edifying its members, exercising its autonomy, and fulfilling the Great Commission.

EVANGELISM – We believe it is the duty of all believers to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world. We also believe that God has a special interest in the salvation of children.

SECOND COMING – We believe in the visible, personal, imminent and pre-tribulational coming of our Lord Jesus Christ for His redeemed ones, and His pre-millennial return to the earth with His saints to establish His millennial kingdom.

HEAVEN AND HELL – We believe in the bodily resurrection of all mankind, the saved to eternal life in Heaven, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment in Hell.

SATAN – We believe that Satan is a created being, the author of sin, and the open and declared enemy of God and man. We believe that Satan was defeated at the Cross, and therefore his final doom is certain in the Lake of Fire.

SEPARATION – We believe Christians should be separated FROM the world and UNTO Christ, and should live their lives in such a manner as not to bring reproach to their Lord. Every born again believer should manifest a Christ-like conduct, exemplified by a consistent walk and a continual yielding to the Holy Spirit’s control.

CURRENT TRENDS IN THEOLOGY – We take a stand against Neo-orthodoxy, Neo-evangelicalism, the Ecumenical movement, the modern Tongues movement, and any other movement or trend that leads to discrediting the Bible and undermining the fundamentals of the faith.
